Become a data partner in the UAE.
Turn everyday work into a new revenue line.

Telepath Robotics is a robotics data collection company based in Dubai. We partner with UAE businesses whose staff do hands-on work: your team records agreed tasks during normal shifts with cameras we provide, and your business is paid for accepted recordings. Egocentric data collection in Dubai and every emirate: first-person robot training data from your floor, with no change to how your team works.

01 / HOW IT WORKS

Four steps
from a call to payment.

A data partner programme for businesses in the UAE runs on a short written brief, agreed before anyone records anything.

  1. Short callTell us about your site.

A 20-minute call about what your team does with their hands, how shifts run, and whether the work suits robot training data.

    YOUR INPUT / 20 MINUTES

  2. Site visit and task listWe agree what gets recorded.

We visit, walk the floor with you, and agree which tasks to record and which areas stay off limits. It goes into a one-page brief.

YOU GET / A WRITTEN BRIEF

  3. Recording during normal shiftsYour team works as usual.

Staff wear a small camera, supplied by Telepath, while doing the tasks in the brief. Nothing about the job, the shift or the output changes.

YOUR INPUT / A FEW MINUTES PER SHIFT

  4. Paid for accepted recordingsReview, then payment.

Every recording is checked against the brief. Accepted recordings are paid to your business at the rate agreed in advance; the terms are set out in the pilot agreement.

YOU GET / PAID FOR ACCEPTED WORK

02 / WHO IT IS FOR

UAE businesses whose staff
work with their hands.

Any site where people pick, fold, pack, assemble, cook, clean or stock is a candidate. In the UAE we are especially interested in:

  • laundries
  • perfume and cosmetics production
  • cable and furniture workshops
  • central kitchens
  • warehouses

KINDS OF WORK

  • Warehouse or logistics

  • Hotel or hospitality

  • Restaurant or kitchen

  • Retail or shop floor

  • Manufacturing or workshop

  • Cleaning or facilities

  • Construction or trades

  • Other hands-on work

03 / WHAT YOUR BUSINESS GETS

Earn from your business in the UAE.
No change to the work.

What your business gets
  • Payment to your business for every accepted recording, at a rate you know before recording starts.
  • The cameras, provided by Telepath for the length of the programme.
  • A written brief and a pilot before any larger programme, so both sides know what "done" means.
  • Review feedback on every recording, so you know what was accepted and why.
  • No change to products, shifts, staffing or output. The work is the same; it is simply recorded.
What it asks of you
  • One call and one site visit from your owner or manager.
  • A few minutes per shift to start and stop recording on the agreed tasks.
  • Permission to record on your premises, and a word with the staff involved.
  • No equipment to buy. Telepath provides the cameras; everything else each side provides is listed in the brief.

04 / PRIVACY AND CONSENT

Recording with
permission and care.

Recording in a UAE workplace follows the same six rules every Telepath partner agrees to before their first task.

  1. Permission first.

We record only where the business owner or site manager has agreed in writing.

  2. People are told.

Staff and anyone nearby know when recording happens, and recording stops if someone objects.

  3. No private spaces.

Never in bathrooms, prayer rooms, changing rooms or rest areas.

  4. No personal details in frame.

Screens, documents, ID cards and payment details stay out of the recording.

  5. Only the agreed task.

Recordings cover the tasks in the brief and nothing else.

  6. Faces are blurred.

Faces are blurred in every recording before it is used as training data.

The UAE Personal Data Protection Law applies to recordings that can identify a person. How recordings are stored, used and deleted is written into the pilot agreement before recording starts. This page describes our rules; it is not legal advice.

FAQ

Questions UAE business owners ask.

Your team and your site

Do my workers need to change how they work?

No. The point of the programme is to record real work as it is normally done. Staff do the tasks in the brief exactly as they do today; the only addition is wearing a small camera, which we provide, and starting and stopping recording.

Which emirates do you work in?

All seven. Telepath is based in Dubai and works with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Choose your emirate in the form and we will arrange the site visit.

Do we need to buy cameras?

No. Telepath provides the cameras for the length of the programme, along with a short guide to what a good recording looks like. Delivery and return are arranged at the site visit.

What is egocentric data collection?

Video recorded from the worker’s own point of view with a small wearable camera, so it shows the hands and the task as the person sees them. Robotics teams use this first-person data to train robots to do the same physical work. Telepath runs egocentric data collection in Dubai and across the UAE, and this programme is how a business takes part.

Law and privacy

Is this allowed under UAE law?

Workplace recording in the UAE is subject to the Personal Data Protection Law where a person can be identified. We record only with the site owner’s written permission, staff are told, faces are blurred before recordings are used, and the data terms are set out in the pilot agreement. We are not a law firm; your own legal advisers can review the agreement.

Who owns the recordings?

Ownership and permitted use are written into the pilot agreement and agreed with your company before recording starts. Accepted recordings are used as training data for robotics teams building robots that do physical work.

Pilot and cost

How long is a pilot?

A pilot covers a small set of tasks over an agreed number of shifts, so both sides can see real recordings before deciding on a larger programme. The length is set in the brief.

What does it cost us?

There is no fee to take part and no equipment to buy: Telepath provides the cameras. Your side provides a call, a site visit, permission to record, and a few minutes per shift. Accepted recordings are paid for at the rate agreed in the brief.

Who is paid, the company or the workers?

The business. Payment for accepted recordings goes to your company at the rate in the pilot agreement. How you share it with the staff who record is your decision.
